TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE WALIBI RHÔNE-ALPES GIFT CARD

1. IDENTIFICATION OF THE SELLER

These Gift Card Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the "Gift Card") govern the contractual relationship between the Seller and each buyer of the Gift Card (hereinafter the "Customer").

2. Purchase terms

Gift Cards can be purchased:

  • Online via the Seller’s website at www.walibi.fr (hereinafter the "Website");

The Gift Card has no pre-set face value. The Customer chooses the desired amount at the time of purchase. The minimum purchase value is €20, and the maximum is €1,500.

At the time of purchase, the Customer can choose between two formats:

  • A physical card, sent to the postal address provided by the Customer (when purchased online via the Website);
  • A digital (dematerialized) card in a non-editable electronic format, sent to the email address provided by the Customer. Digital Gift Cards can be purchased via the Website.

3. Terms of use

The Gift Card is valid for one (1) year from its activation date.
It can be used to purchase:
(i) Park ticketing (entry tickets, annual passes),
(ii) Additional services (queue-jumping options, food & beverage, and boutique items),
excluding any other product or service (e.g. parking, tobacco, Monnaie de Paris coins, vending machines, arcade/skill games, etc.).

It can also be used to purchase another Gift Card.

The Gift Card is accepted as payment:
(i) at the Seller’s restaurants,
(ii) in the Seller’s shops, at the Seller’s ticket counters.

The Gift Card can be used in full or in part. The remaining balance and validity date can be checked via the Seller’s mobile app after creating a customer account, or by asking at the Park’s shops.

If the Gift Card value is insufficient for a purchase, the Customer may use another payment method, in accordance with the Seller’s Individual General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The Gift Card cannot be exchanged, resold, or refunded—even partially—nor transferred to a bank account, card, or another Gift Card. No change will be given for purchases below the card value.
It is non-reloadable.
The Gift Card will not be replaced or refunded in case of damage, loss, theft, or expiry (after one year).

4. Right of withdrawal

For any remote purchase (via the Website), the Customer benefits from a fourteen (14)-day withdrawal period from the receipt of the order confirmation email, in accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code and Directive 2011/83/EU.

This right applies only if the Gift Card has not been used (in whole or in part) before the withdrawal period ends.

To withdraw, the Customer must notify their decision via an unambiguous statement before the end of the withdrawal period, for example by using the downloadable withdrawal form available [here] and also on the Website. Notification should be sent to:

5. Personal data protection

The company Compagnie des Alpes (RCS Paris 349 577 908) and AVENIR LAND (a subsidiary of Compagnie des Alpes) act as joint controllers for the processing of personal data in relation to the sale and operation of products and services at Walibi Rhône-Alpes Park.

In accordance with applicable data protection laws, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. You may also object to processing.

6. seller's responsability

The Seller is only bound by a best-efforts obligation regarding online sales. The Seller cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent to the use of the internet, such as service interruption, external intrusion, or the presence of computer viruses, or any other event recognized as force majeure by case law.

7. Force majeure

If the Seller is delayed or prevented, in whole or in part, from fulfilling their obligations due to a force majeure event as defined in Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, they will inform the Customer by any appropriate means. In the event of force majeure, the Seller’s obligations are automatically suspended without liability.

8. Applicable law - Dispute resolution

These Terms of Use are governed by French law.

Pursuant to Article L.211-3 of the French Consumer Code, in case of a dispute regarding the validity, interpretation, or performance of these Terms and Conditions, the Customer may use a free mediation procedure in accordance with Articles L.611-1 and following of the Consumer Code, or any other alternative dispute resolution method.

The Customer may refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Mediation service (MTV Médiation Tourisme Voyage) as outlined at www.mtv.travel, within one (1) year from the date of the written complaint sent to the Seller.

The Customer may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform provided by the European Commission under Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013:

In the absence of amicable resolution, disputes may be brought before the competent French court in accordance with applicable law. For the purposes of these Terms, the Seller elects domicile at its registered office, as specified in Article 2.
